My Bio

I’m Donna, founder of Posh Paws Gold Coast, a boutique in-home pet care service providing personalised, staycation-style care for pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

My approach to pet care is built around a simple belief: "exceptional care isn’t just measured by what we do — it’s measured by how your pet feels while you’re away." Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I take the time to understand each pet as an individual — their personality, routines, preferences, communication and what helps them feel safe and secure. By caring for one household at a time, I’m able to provide calm, unhurried and highly personalised care, particularly for pets who may find traditional boarding environments overwhelming, including anxious pets, seniors and those who simply thrive best at home.

I am a Fear Free® Certified Professional Pet Sitter, Pet First Aid Certified and a Pet Care Professional Member of the Pet Professional Guild Australia (PPGA). I’m committed to continuing my professional education and providing ethical, force-free, science-based and relationship-led care that supports both the physical and emotional wellbeing of the pets entrusted to me.

For pet parents, my goal is to provide more than someone to simply feed, walk and supervise their pets. I want them to be able to travel knowing their much-loved family members are being cared for by someone who genuinely understands them, respects their individual needs and will advocate for their wellbeing throughout their stay.
